‌Howard Johnson Wenting Hotel Changsha, China

Material : Stainless Steel, Ceramics, Paper Art, Oil Painting

Located in Yuhua District, Changsha, this high-end Business hotel features systematic customized artwork design and full in-house art fabrication. Drawing inspiration from Hunan landscape and local oriental aesthetics, bespoke artworks cover the lobby, banquet halls, guest rooms and public corridors. Handcrafted metal installations, ink-style partition screens, textured wall decorations and themed paintings integrate modern minimalist lines with subtle Xiang cultural elements. All decorative art pieces are independently designed, manufactured and installed, with tailored furnishings, layered artistic lighting and custom ornaments unifying the hotel’s quiet light-luxury tone. The integrated art system delivers immersive cultural aesthetics, distinguishing the hotel as a sophisticated art-themed business retreat for receptions and high-end stays.

On the ground floor, flowing textures ripple across the lobby, infusing the space with order and harmony. Crafted from North American black walnut, the reception desk at the far end complements the refined lattice wall. Steady and serene, it offers a warm welcome, allowing every guest to relax in complete comfort.

This private room elevates the dining experience, uniting all senses around the round table to embrace fine food and elegant surroundings. Bathed in a calm, soothing atmosphere, one savors the enduring aftertaste of delicacies. Mirrored walls expand the space horizontally with soft, diffused reflections. As guests sit facing one another, fine cuisine and pleasant company blend into a warm, natural scene.

Continuing the warm texture of interwoven wood elements, the guest room envelopes occupants in gentle comfort. Recessed lighting casts a soft glow over the mini-bar. Lattice-patterned art glass separates the foyer and living area, striking a perfect balance between privacy for the wardrobe and natural daylight penetration. Suspended between vertical wood panels, the wardrobe with glossy black surfaces and built-in display niches stands as a refined decorative feature. Deliberate negative space brings visual relief and awakens the imagination of guests.
